Offers a sound introduction to the role and responsibilities of the teacher, tutor or trainer within the Lifelong Learning sector, which is recognised by Lifelong Learning UK, the government approved standards body for the education sector. The qualification is defined as the minimum requirement for those wishing to deliver post 16 Education.

Entry Requirement

All candidates must demonstrate Numeracy and Literacy at Level 2.

• The nature of assessments, both theory and practicals requires candidates to have good written and

spoken English, that is i.e. the ability to read and interpret written tasks, and to write in an academic

style.

• In addition, you must have a subject specialism for delivery, or be aiming to achieve and must have

experience and or skill for your subject at a required level for the course/ subject you wish to teach.
